What is the cause of this myth?
In a study in 1986, researchers from Japan found that rats that were fed "heterocyclic amines", a compound that occurs when meat is cooked very well at high temperatures, has the growth of cancer cells. Since then, many studies appeared concerning the possibility of a link between red meat and cancer.
But, is it true?
Actually, there are no studies showing a direct relationship between red meat consumption and cancer. Existing studies, it was actually far from the word "valid", because the data is retrieved only shows the tendency of one's diet, and health conditions that arise from this diet. Not that simple to conclude that there directly.
So, Like what?
Do not be afraid to bake, or eat satay, burgers or steak! Moreover, to force myself not to eat red meat at all. Still safe, just throw away the parts of the sate or charred burgers or your steaks, before you eat.**matabumi.com**
